Face of Betrayal


What a refreshing experience this was to read. A thriller with no blasphemy, no swearing, and no overtly sexual content which delivered a great read. You can feel the authenticity of the characters and the situations they deal with thanks to the experience of the author Lis Wiehl.
There is the main plot-who killed Katie Converse- along with other sub plots- who wants revenge on Alison?..and will Cassidy fall into a harmful relationship ?. The three female characters are very different and yet an honest portrayal of the different character types we meet every day.Most refreshing of all is that Lis is not afraidto quote scripture or to bring in strong moral lessons in this book. The short chapters make it easier to follow the varying threads. I picked this book up and found it hard to put down- so go ahead and read it but make sure your to do list is finished first!
